Oct 3: See our post on the status with tariffs and order shipping to the USA here.
The Canada Post labour situation here remains unresolved, though discussions and offers continue to be exchanged. Given that there’s more reason for optimism now, we have re-enabled postal shipments within Canada and to the rest of the world excluding the USA.
Postal shipments to the USA are not feasible right now as they incur heavy pre-paid duties, especially on steel derivative products like knives. We can, in theory, use UPS and DHL for USA shipments because they allow USMCA and other tariff exclusions to remove duty from our products. But we still have a hold on USA shipments because UPS’s shipping tools have not been giving reliable results. We are now testing DHL, which looks more promising.
